This sick Sleepy Lizard was handed into the Para Hills Veterinary Clinic in South Australia by a member of Rescue Fauna. Apparently, a Golden Retriever found the lizard and retrieved it for its owner to inspect.  What a good dog! The team at Para Hills Veterinary Clinic who treated the sleepy for infection, allowed me to come take samples to test whether it was infected with the ‘bobtail flu’. Along with ruling out this virus, the blood sample will help in continuing to create the antibody test for this virus, so super helpful. Big thanks to Para Hills Veterinary Clinic! – Robert O’Reilly
